William
P. Kent, Ph.D.
Bill Kent has over 20 years
of healthcare and consulting experience and is an Executive
Coach and Partner of MEDI. He is able to utilize and blend
his
knowledge as a healthcare executive, including his role as a Chief Executive
Officer, with his experience as a psychologist/clinician so that he can
partner with senior executives to improve their leadership
performance.
Dr. Kent utilizes his understanding
of the interpersonal and leadership dynamics that can impact the
success of a leader in his coaching approach. Bill has worked with
executives in and out of the healthcare industry and integrates that
knowledge and experience with each of the healthcare executives that
have engaged him as their executive coach. Bill has assisted senior
executives in healthcare with organizational turnarounds, senior
team development, transition management, medical staff relationships,
strategic planning and other leadership challenges.
Dr. Kent graduated from the University
of Colorado with his doctorate degree in 1991. His dissertation focused
on organizational mergers and/or acquisitions and their impact on
employee/organizational performance. He also received his Master
of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Washington State University
in 1977 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Regis
University in Colorado.
