A. Shannon, BSN, MHSA
Sabrina Shannon, Executive Coach and Partner with MEDI, uses a powerful coaching
model and more than 25 years experience to bring insight and options to executives.
The approach is customized for each client accounting for the unique strengths
of the individual and demands of the situation. Working through a proven process,
clients substantially heighten their ability to lead and achieve unprecedented
professional and personal goals.
Sabrina is credited with combining managerial
innovation and compelling service to make a significant impact on
customer satisfaction, employee commitment, and profitability in
healthcare organizations. She entered the industry in direct care
at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. in 1980 and advanced
to manage clinic operations. After earning a graduate degree, Sabrina
worked at Brookwood Medical Center, the flagship of Tenet Healthcare
and the University of Alabama Hospital, an academic institution,
both in Birmingham, Alabama. Today, in addition to being a part of
the MEDI team, she owns and operates Innergy, a company that helps
individuals and organizations excel.
Sabrina completed the comprehensive
course work of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in 2003 and offers
a spectrum of leadership development services. She received her Master’s
in Health Services Administration from The George Washington University
and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Howard University. She
also completed the Executive Program for Healthcare Leaders at the
Wharton School of Business.
