John S. Lloyd, MBA, MPH
John Lloyd is an Executive Coach and Partner of MEDI with
30 years of executive search consulting experience. He received his
executive coaching training at Legacy Alliance, a nationally recognized
executive coaching firm. John firmly believes we have excellent talent
in the healthcare leadership group that can be enhanced working with
an experienced MEDI coach.
In 2005, John retired from Witt/Kieffer
as vice chairman and founding member of the firm. His leadership
was instrumental directing Witt/Kieffer as it diversified it’s
business in healthcare, education and not-for-profits always striving
to provide high quality service. His leadership helped the firm become
one of the ten largest executive search firms in the country.
In addition to his internal leadership
at Witt/Kieffer, John was often called on to coach these individuals
as a part of his search work. In the 1990’s, clients and peers
regularly selected him as one of the top 100 executive search consultants
in the country.
John has held key leadership positions
in the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), including
serving as chairman of the board of directors. He serves on the Board
of the University of Missouri-Columbia Health System. He also serves
on the Board of Directors of the Circus World Museum in Baraboo,
WI.
As part of his commitment to mentoring
potential leaders in the healthcare industry, John is a regular lecturer
to graduate students in health and medical management. He is a well-regarded
speaker and author on executive topics such as leadership development
and succession planning, and conducts national surveys of interest
to senior healthcare leaders.
John received his Master of Business
Administration, Master of Science in Public Health in Healthcare
Management, and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from
the University of Missouri, Columbia.
