The MEDI executive coaching process begins with discovery. We seek
to learn about the executive and provide the maximum opportunity for
the executive to develop a deeper self-awareness.
A web-based 360 survey tool that inquires about 12 Key Competencies of Successful Healthcare Leaders is used to provide objective feedback from the executive's stakeholders — board members, executive staff members, physician colleagues and others. This helps the leader learn how their leadership is perceived by others.
We also use highly sensitive self assessments to learn the executive's leadership strengths, personality preferences, communication style, and other characteristics of leadership.
Experienced MEDI coaches examine the new information along with previous assessments to determine strengths and opportunities to develop stronger leadership effectiveness. From this collaboration, a leadership development plan is customized.
